Roger Bacon Wins National Title, Underwater Hockey - National Champs

Senior Member Group: Members Posts: 372 Member No.: 1406 Joined: 8-January 08	Roger Bacon's Underwater Hockey team played well at the National Championships which were held in Gainesville, Florida. Roger Bacon defeated a team from the University of Florida 4 - 0 to win all the marbles. Now Roger Bacon has won 3 national championships - going up against college competition. That says a lot about the coaching of Dr. Paul Wittekind who also teaches Social Studies at Roger Bacon. The team is loaded with 45218, 45240 and 45231 kids. Team members include Addie Pine, Andrea Loudin, Allison Lawlor, Jon Mathis, Ben Rumpke, David Luken, Mike Wurtzler, Greg Moeller, Anthony Hemmingway, Joey Hinnenkamp, Andrew Kalvelage, Zach Lambert, Liz Fromhold, Rebecca Meisman, Kevin Anneken, and Michelle Casey. Coaches are Dr. Wittekind, Mr. Wayne Specht, and Mr. David Dozer and Mr. Joe Gering. Congratulations to all involved.
