We have several gardens around the villlage that need some love. The commons is looking great, thank you, to all of you. We are looking for someone to adopt a couple of gardens that need to be weeded and taken care of all summer long.

A great project for families or groups. Just an hour a week would make such a difference to the village. If any of you are interested please let me know.

Can you list the location of them? If one is close to where I live I might be interested.

They are all within walking distance from wherever one lives in the Village. Could be a great Boy Scout/Cub Scout project for your guys.

LR is correct, they are all in the village. One is the island across from Ameristop. It was weeded already and it has plants and flowers in it , but it just needs to be kept up. Also, all the beds along Winton Road in the store area but up on the hill. The village actually owns that part of the shopping center. They also just need to be weeded. The Welcome to Greenhills sign down by the park. It needs alot of love. I hate to see the Springfield Township sign and then look at our puny sign. I have put some perinnals in it but it needs some help.I am planning a complete overhaul for the Welcome to Greenhills sign on Winton and Sharon, maybe this fall. There are two gardens up by the City building that need some love, i.e. weeded and trimmed back. Oh, I could go on and on. If you are interested PM me.

Just an hour or two a week, would make a huge difference.
