We have recieved many requests from the people who attended our St. Pat's Party last year to bring this party back as an annual event. It seems only logical that we have a special celebration of St. Patrick in Greenhills Ohio.
Save the date of March 13th, 2010

will there a person of honor to recieve the funds this year? If not, may I make a suggestion to start a fund to help those in need in the village or area throughout the year, such as groceries, perscriptions, gas and electric, water bills, assistance with morgages?

Please note that the date of this event has been changed to Saturday the 13th!!!! It's always nicer to have your party before the actual holiday and having it on saturday opens up the schedule for some bands that have limited or no availability on fridays.

I look forward to this event and getting back to the local music thing. It would be cool to find an Irish Band for this event however being that its the #1 night leading to the holiday we might out of luck.

Time slots etc will be forthcoming..

if young Mr. Sullivan is still playing with the Unlucky Charms, there is a strong possibility he will be busy on the saturday before St. Patrick's. You are always welcome to do a few numbers with us Nuttly.

I spoke with him yesterday and he is not with the UC's and is playing again with his old band. Ask him to jump in!

Hey everybody. Me and my band are interested in playing at these open mic/jam session events. Could anyone give me some info about the requirments and all that? (Also, we're still in high school so I was wondering if we would need parents to be there or whatever, in case theres legal issues with alcohol.)

We are three guys from forest park, all attended Winton Woods at one point or another. We just recently cut a small demo. If you're interested in hearing a few of our songs, you can check out our myspace page. I put the link below. (keep in mind, these were not professionally recorded. biggrin.gif )

Check back later this month for timeslots, if March doesn't work due to it being a St Pats Party then we can work something in April.

OK, time to dust off this thread..

Here is what I know:

Saturday March 13th is the date of our next Greenhills Jam Session and the theme is St Patricks Day! So what does that mean you ask? Nothing fancy but just some plain old fun St Patricks Day style( including some Killians on draft).. Bring an Irish tune in your bag of tricks..

Music Line up to include:

Creeper
Gils
Supa ( and friends)
Afterlife- I believe you guys are playing elsewhere, please confirm
Bundy sisters- Need to confirm this week
Dhue and UPSBob- Need to confirn this week
Northland Noise- You dudes still want in?- Need to confirm this week

Looking for an unemployed Irish band if at all possible..

Supa,

We would still be interested except we have another show that night.

(We're playing at a benefit show for homeless teens at Roger Bacon.)
