A wonderful, somewhat warm, day for golf. Uncle went crazy in the Silent Auction and has cornered the futures market on "dried floral arrangements", but also has a new driver......yeah Dazed your cart buddy "Edged" you out.
The fairway sprinklers were coming on to maintain the grass and a never more funny scene was looking back up the fairway to see one come on with one of the carts of BeerBob, Dazed, dog, and Uncle at "point blank" range with a full load of occupants. Thanks for all who helped, contributed and participated in making this a great day for a great cause in memory of great friend. I will never again question the need for those plastic windshields on golf carts. We were a few inches away from that water coming right at us. That's what we get for being nice enough to pick up beerbob's ball, which, for some inexplicable reason, was in the middle of the fairway
It was a great time. Had a great time yesterday! I apologize to the team for my crappy shots. I am going to really have to start working with my irons more. All and all a well run event.
